For students with Mac's or Linux computers that need to run Windows-only programs such as Microsoft Project or Solidworks, they need to install Windows 10 on their machine. Below you can find instructions outlining this process.
- Acquire VMware Fusion: Download and Install OR set-up your Mac with BootCamp
- Acquire a Windows 10 Education Edition operating system: Download and Install it on your VM or BootCamp partition:
- Download your Windows-only software installation files and save them in your new Windows 10 environment or a shared location
- Install your new software!
