If you have a NUnet PC, Microsoft Office is already installed.
If you wish to install Microsoft Office on a University Owned PC:
- You must be a Faculty/Staff member or have a Sponsored Account [1]
- Call the Help Desk (x4357)
- Tell them you want to file a software request. They will walk you through the process. It takes about 5 minutes.
If you want a copy of Microsoft Office for your home computer or personal laptop (Faculty-Staff only):
- Log in to the MyNEU portal at http://myneu.neu.edu
- Click on the tab that says "Services and Links"
- Scroll down to "Free and Discounted Software" and click on that for the OnTheHub web store
- At this link, you can purchase Office for about $10 for Windows or Mac
- You can also get VMware products (including VMware Fusion for Macs) and other useful software for free.
