As of July 2019, the campus print system has been changed from Pharos to PaperCut. With Papercut, printing is possible from a machine that does not have the client installed, via a web interface.

To submit print jobs via the web, log in here using your Husky (student) or NUnet (fac/staff) credentials:

https://papercut.northeastern.edu/user

  1. In the left panel select "Web Print".
  2. In the center select "Submit a Job"
  3. Select the appropriate print queue based on paper size (ie, bos3625\PaperCut - 8.5x11 BW (virtual))
  4. Then click "Print Options and Account Selection".
  5. Set number of copies.
  6. Then "Upload Documents" (drag and drop desired documents into center panel) or select "Upload from computer".
  7. Once files are uploaded, select "Upload & Complete".

Print jobs in your queue can be printed / released at any open PaperCut station by swiping your Husky card..

The following file types are allowed:

  • Microsoft Excel (xlam, xls, xlsb, xlsm, xlsx, xltm, xltx)
  • Microsoft PowerPoint (pot, potm, potx, ppam, pps, ppsm, ppsx, ppt, pptm, pptx)
  • Microsoft Word (doc, docm, docx, dot, dotm, dotx, rtf, txt)
  • PDF (pdf)
  • Picture Files (bmp, dib, gif, jfif, jif, jpe, jpeg, jpg, png, tif, tiff)
